There seems to be no logical grounds for belief in objective (beyond subjective opinion) moral values and duties without God. If God does not exist, objective moral values and duties do not exist. However, most would affirm that at least some objective moral values and duties do exist. Therefore, it follows that God exists.

If we affirm that there are at least some objective moral laws (beyond our subjective opinions), the most reasonable conclusion is to believe that there is some sort of Moral Lawgiver. This does not mean that atheists are incapable of being “good.” It means that, if atheism were true (as many atheists admit), nothing would be (objectively) good (or bad).
