Verse of the Day 2.19.18: Genesis 1:16
Today C4C is studying Genesis 1 — the six “days” of Creation. These “days” are, as John Lennox (mathematician, scientist, Oxford University professor, and Christian apologist) says, the ‘Seven Days That Divide the World.’ For more information on the powerful Cosmological Argument for the existence of God, please visit this previous post.
Text
16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.2
C4C Translation
And God made two great lights — the greater light for dominion of the day and the lesser light for dominion of the night — and the stars.
