Conclusion

Once we have been reconciled to God the Father through God the Son, we should seek to reconcile others.

We are to be ministers of reconciliation, reconciled reconcilers – Ambassadors for Christ.

For the love of Christ constrains us. The love of Christ should both restrain us from living for self, and urge us to live for the Savior.

Our goals and hopes and dreams are secondary. For when we follow Christ, Christ comes first.

If we claim to follow Jesus, on the road of life, we must let Jesus take the wheel.

And if Christ the King reigns in our life, we must let Him take the reins of our life.

For we are convinced that Jesus died for all – as our corporate representative. And, therefore, on the cross all died.

And He died that all who live (in Christ) should not live for themselves, but for Him who died as our substitute and was raised again.

Christ died for all; all should live for Christ (though most will not (Mt 7:13-14)). Nonetheless, as ambassadors for Christ, our lives should revolve around the Son (S-O-N).

And we all should view the world through SON-glasses. We should not judge merely by human standards, but by holy standards – seeing things through not through the lens of the world, but the lens of the word.

And if anyone is in a faithful relationship with Christ, there is not only a new creature, but a foretaste of the coming new creation – when Christ comes back and consummates the Kingdom.

But until then, we must be His ambassadors – so others may be reconciled through the King.

So, let’s focus less on recreation and more on re-creation!

Let’s be messengers for the Master, representatives of the Redeemer, ambassadors for Christ.
